Head Piece Yellow, “Return the Crania”

A first wearable release from the Provenance collection, Head Piece Yellow, “Return the Crania” features the accentuated Afro pick. Emboldened with cowries, this piece was crafted in Joshua Tree, California in the first weeks of Spring 2021 and dedicated to ancestors whose crania have been stolen and held by the University of Pennsylvania’s collection for research.
